Originally from Louisiana, I currently live in Huntsville, Alabama, where I have taught creative writing classes at the University of Alabama in Huntsville since 2011. I’ve lived and learned and taught in South Carolina, Indiana, and Pennsylvania, and write both poetry and fiction. Recent work has appeared in the South Carolina Review, Poet Lore, Del Sole Review, The Fiddlehead: Atlantic Canada’s International Literary Journal, Blue Earth Review, and Catamaran (see CV for a full list of publications). Additionally, I have a chapbook of poetry, Blessing for the Unborn, from Finishing Line Press.

In addition to writing, I also co-host a podcast about The Bachelor with my ex-husband, Ryan Weber (Here for the Wrong Reasons, available for download on i-Tunes, Spotify, and Stitcher…). And I play as much tennis as life allows with two kids, a job, two dogs, and a cat.
